We started big time; as a logistic service company, to big Weyerhaeuser Uruguay corporation, which was looking at that moment, to maximize the railcar loads from Tacuarembo to Montevideo. This big company needed a customized solution, in order to discharge plywood in a very difficult location- complying with their safety standards- and JOCA was its ally since, for that task.
Having evolved through the years, we finally found ourselves in a partnership with the Chilean group that represents roder.com, for operations in Uruguay; we couldn’t have been more honoured… This agreement consisted, on the rent of massive tents, which worked as a transition warehouse for products such as wood pulp. Little we knew, that along the following two years JOCA would have grown so big, as to be able to install and provide service for more than 4500 m2 of tent space, to no other that another big company: Montes del Plata corporation.
